A year of change

What a wierd year this is ..2020!

like most people we have found it difficult to adapt to the many changes, that have occurred , so far, this year.

As we are unable to work in the conventional sense, due to our different abilities. We rely on selling our handmade products on our sister site www.loveartz.co.uk. As you can imagine, sales have been virtually non-existant, due to the pandemic and people only buying essentials.

So, we are asking for donations, to keep this site, up and running. If you can donate £1...please do so. It could make all the difference, as to whether this site stays open.

Please fill in the contact form on and we will get back to you.

Thank you all so much for your appreciated support..we couldn't do it without you.

Stay safe

Blessings

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome..CFS/M.E

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ M.E

This remains a controversial illness, both in terms of causes and the best ways to treat the illness. For years, sufferers have had to deal with scepticism from our families, employers, and even health care professionals. The conflicting advice that has been published up to now has served only to confuse sufferers and professionals even more.

Key points:

* There are many names for this illness, which can be confusing.

* Most Doctors prefer the name C.F.S Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

* Many patients prefer ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis/encephalopathy) or CFIDS (Chronic fatigue and immune system dysfunction syndrome).

* Like most reports, we use the name CFS/ME.

Doctors are hesitant to call this condition ME because they say it's unproven that sufferers have any brain dysfunction. Although, they do agree that patients do suffer with muscle pain. Hence, why they use the term 'myalgic' but prefer to use the term encaphopathy. This is why patients get confused as to what terminology to use, when discussing this condition.

There are many symptoms which make this a complicated illness to diagnose. And, like me, many people suffer for many years, before they get a firm diagnosis, that they're happy with.

I shall be writing a list of these symptoms in the next blog. With a list of natural, alternative therapies, which may ease some symptoms.. and hopefully, make this condition more manageable for you.

To be continued....very soon. Thank you for being patient with me.

Blessings

ADHD DRUG 'ADDERALL' IS BASICALLY CRYSTAL METH

Posted on 9 May, 2016 at 6:35 Comments comments (85)
ADHD DRUG 'ADDERALL' IS BASICALLY CRYSTAL METH WARNS DOCTOR.

A whistle-blower doctor has recently spoken out against the dangers of popular ADHD Big Pharma drug Adderall, saying it is 'basically he same as crystal meth'.

Dr Carl Hart, an associate professor of psychology and psychiatry at Columbia University, spoke with Chris Hayes on MSNBC, and pointed out that Adderall is prescribed to a staggering number of children in the US, including 10,000 toddlers and that the drug is the leading cause of violence in American youth.

Truthactivist.com reports Hart went on to discuss crystal meth and made a statement that would surprise many of the mainstream viewers who were tuned into the show, that it is basically the same thing as Adderall, something that is entirely legal and is prescribed to millions. When Hayes replied back that this couldn't have been true, Hart mentioned a number of studies where he drugs were actually compared and found to be nearly identical.

One thing that was not discussed in the quick interview was the fact that harsh and highly synthetic street drugs would actually not exist if it were no for prohibition. In environments where drugs are legal, there is no incentive for people to create these dangerous synthetics because pure and safe drugs are available to them at low cost.

This is not a perspective that is encouraging drug use, bu rather an understanding that prohibition doesn't work, and people are going to use substances one way or another if that is what they want to do. In addition to not working, prohibition also makes life more dangerous for everyone because the drugs are dirtier, and violent black market develops which impacts the lives of everyone.

OMEGA  7

OMEGA 7  Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides) is a berry bush found in Asia and Europe. The berry has been used in Asian traditional medicine for thousands of years. More research has found that sea buckthorn oil is an important source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (particularly Omega 7).

Polyunsaturated fatty acids are important structural components of mucous membranes, which form the protective lining of internal organs such as the vaginal and respiratory tracts, as well as the surface of the eyes and mouth.

Glucosamine and chondroitin are supplements, occasionally used together to slow down the advancement of arthritis to help adults cope with arthritic pain. It is useful in the treatment of mild to acute osteoarthritis knee pain. In addition, the two supplements to have been used to treat the inflammation and discomfort of fibromyalgia or lupus, gout, and rheumatoid arthritis. They increase cartilage development, decrease cartilage breakdown , and preserves the reliability of existing joint tissue. They have overlapping effects and compliment each other. Because of this, glucosamine - chondroitin amalgamation has a coefficient effect. That's why, it's better to consistently use glucosamine and chondroitin together rather than separately. However it's important to use the correct forms and dosage.

STEROIDS IN CHILDREN

Posted on 21 April, 2015 at 5:15 Comments comments (93)
STEROIDS IN CHILDREN

The use of steroids in children is difficult to justify. For 30 years we've known that prolonged use for asthma and eczema retards growth in children and delays puberty. Many studies of children with juvenile chronic arthritis given steroids show they suffer growth retardation.

Children given topical and inhaled steroids are prone to same side-effects, such as stunted growth and adrenal suppression.

Steroids may also affect a cognitive performance. In one study, where children are on combination steroid drugs were given tests of visual retention association, the performance of children on the drugs (some six to eight hours after receiving steroid medication) was significantly worse than that of a group of non-asthmatics.

Although these differences disappeared a day or so after the medication was given, they may nevertheless be constant for those children permanently on the drugs.

Evidence also suggests that topical inhaled steroids can cause cataracts and glaucoma, ordinarily only associated with oral steroids.

Bone mineral density has also been found to be lower children the longer they stay on steroids. And inhaled drugs for diseases such as: asthma are found to have adverse effects on bone metabolism and adrenal function at higher dosages (more than 1,000 micrograms per day). Steroids can even cause death of the mass of bone (osteonecrosis), necessitating joint replacement.

Even with the so-called dramatic side-effects on such crippling conditions as rheumatoid arthritis, new research demonstrates that these anti-inflammatory effects appear to wear off in time, leaving the sufferers worse off than before.

Medicine has even turned this state of affairs into a syndrome, called 'steroid resistant asthma', which includes patients who don't respond to normal doses of cortisone and in whom the drug, in some cases, makes the asthma worse.

Many otherwise benign infections become life-threatening in children on steroids. In the summer of 1992, Lexie McConnell, a nine year old living in Oxford, was diagnosed as having toxoplasmosis. Although there was no imminent danger of the disease affecting her sight, and the illness might have resolved itself, it was affecting an area near Lexie's retina and, in the view of her doctor, ought to be treated. Her Father Art explains:

Within 24 hours of commencing steroid treatment, Lexie was deeply ill with side-effects: immediately her face ballooned. We were told that she should lead a normal life, so we sent her to school, and swimming, although she was often too ill to stay. By November, she had put on an enormous amount of weight and had terrible pains, holes in her tongue and black stools, which we later found out indicated internal bleeding.

Finally, when she was inexcrutiating pain, we took her to the hospital. After many hours, she was eventually found to have chickenpox. The Doctors also mentioned that she could have had a disseminated herpes simplex infection.

It was only then that Art and his wife learned that the drugs had basically left Lexie without an immune system and that she could die from anything, even a cold sore.

'By Saturday, she went in intensive care and lost consciousness,' says her Dad. 'An hour later, she died.'

This is yet another fascinating set of facts..taken from Lyn McTaggarts amazing book..What Doctors don't tell you.'

We shall be bringing more facts from this highly praised book, to you soon..

Keep posted..Stay educated to make the best choices for you and your loved ones.

Blessed Peace
